  4.     Is there no end to the dark doings of Jose Antonio Zorrilla
  5. Perez? Last month the former head of the powerful Federal Security
  6. Directorate was arrested in Mexico as a suspect in the 1984
  7. assassination of journalist Manuel Buendia. Now a U.S. grand jury
  8. is investigating allegations that Zorrilla was also involved in the
  9. death of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agent Enrique
  10. Camarena Salazar in 1985. According to DEA informants, Zorrilla
  11. knew in advance of Camarena's kidnaping. One source added that
  12. Camarena's interrogator was in direct contact with Zorrilla. If
  13. proved, the allegations would support the theory that Camarena's
  14. murder was approved at the highest levels of the government.
